Midweek Church started in 2020 as a desire in the hearts of Pastor Osegueda and his family. The heartfelt passion and eagerness to impact the next generation of young adults, especially during the hard times in the isolating pandemic, was uncertain at first. But, in 2021, Midweek Church was planted by God in their hearts. 

 

Midweek is a God-loving and family-oriented community. We believe in God, family, and friends. We are a bilingual (English and Spanish) nondenominational church in the city of La Mesa that welcomes everyone. We will intentionally be closed on Sundays. Why? Because we want families to spend more time together, whether it's at football games, school recitals, date nights, ballerina rehearsals, hikes, the beach, or just spending a weekend to unwind.

We have the heart for people of all ages and all different walks of life. Our goal is to build a strong community in which we love our neighbors and our city. Midweek has a dream of opening a ministry which will cater to families with autistic children, and children with other special needs. We also dream of being a bridge center between inmates, that are released from prison, and society. Also, we want to reach out and serve our elderly, through home visitations, yard work, meal prepping, game nights, and much more!

Midweek Church is a church that will not only preach about Jesus, but also reflect what Jesus was and still is. Come and worship God with us on Wednesdays and receive a life-giving word, and still be able to enjoy the weekends to the fullest.

 

A new movement has begun, and we want everyone to experience it!
